Above the rooms there is a large opensided common area looking into the treetops. Here meals are served and it is a great place to while away time after an early morning Safari into Sinharaja Forest. The food is home-cooked using ingredients grown on the property, and is spectacular – the best we have encountered in Sri Lanka.

We had a stunning view from our bungalow . The family was very welcoming and made us feel at home . Mamas home cooked food was delicious and Chamara gave us an interesting tour through the rainforest. We have been sad to leave and absolutely recommend that place.

Originally intending to stay for four nights, we found ourselves captivated by the charm of Charming Dark Lodge, extending our stay to twelve nights. A particularly memorable moment was celebrating my birthday during our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special. Without a doubt, if I ever find myself in Sri Lanka again, Charming Dark Lodge will be my first choice for accommodation. Den nyrenoverede Coconut Cabin - Hiriketiya Beach ligger i Hiriketiya, få skridt fra Hiriketiya Strand og 2,6 km fra Kudawella Strand. The quiet away from busy beach, at night there are no street lights, just the stars and fireflies. Close to (100m) very vibrant beach and great surf spot, lots of restaurants and parties, but when you are in need of quiet, its just 100m away. The cabin is stylish and clean with a private garden. Beautiful kitchen for light cooking. Easy to communicate with Andy, he really makes an effort to help with everything you need. Highly recommended to have a great holiday in Hiriketiya.

The people working on the property always made sure I have a good time and feel comfortable during my stay. Besides of that the house and the rooms are very beautiful and modern and the view you have is just incredible ! Would always return :)

Furthermore, it is close to interesting tourist areas, amazing beaches, restaurants,…The hotel is modern, cosy, furnished with great taste and sense of details, everything is perfectly clean, the swimming pool is amazing, the food is delicious!!!
