It smells so great, looks amazing from outside and inside. The owner is very polite and kind, he’s one of the best we ever met! no AC but there is no need for it in Nuwara eliya amazing weather, and unfortunately there is no wifi. I booked the room downstairs and our two nights went very well and the place was beyond great.

The host was the kindest person - he helped us order food from town for dinner and arranged the best tuk tuk drivers in Kandy for our city tour. The place is lovely, surrounded by tropical fruit trees, where the only sound you hear is birds. Nice rooms with hot showers and access to a shared kitchen which has everything you need. Plenty of space in the common rooms and on the terrace to sit and relax.

They have their own vegetable plots in the premises. The manager cum part owner kaveesha and his friend akila were super nice and accommodating. They organized excursions to all the waterfalls in the area in a safari jeep. It, of course involved lots of trekking and climbing . The cabana style unit was cozy and ideal for a friend/family get-together. It was a home away from home . Super relaxing atmosphere.waking up to bird sounds was lovely. Cool weather. Feb/ March is the best time to go as it is dry. Rain season will dampen the experience.

The property has quiet street views and is 3.4 km from Gregory Lake and 10 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. The property features barbecue facilities. The hosts were exceptionally warm and friendly and accommodative. Responded to appeals promptly. Property was very clean, and the atmosphere pleasant for a holiday. The bedding and sofas were comfortable, and all necessities attended to. Privacy was ensured. Parking facility for a van was appreciated.

Located in Ohiya, surrounded by mountains in the Horton Plains Range, Hill Safari - Tea Estate Villa mainly serves Sri Lankan cuisine. It features a shared lounge area surrounded by tea estates/mountains. The property boasts an excellent location for hiking and trekking. Just about everything. Tea on arrival and departure at midday. The room was brilliant with breathtaking views. The owners kind and helpful. Remote and peaceful. We had half board and the evening meal was really good.

The parquet floors, fireplace and peaceful vibe add to the ambience of the room. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and is protected by full-day security. We stayed here for only one night while driving through the mountains on our bike. On our short stay the hosts warmth, generosity and customer service made a lasting impression on us. He let us check in late and had his brother meet us to answer any questions. He also provided us wood to use the fire ♥️ this was so appreciated after driving for days and being very cold in some areas. You will not find a cosier place in nuwara eliya. Being able to make hot drinks with the refreshments provided & heating up our left over takeaway with the microwave was a god send!! We were so tired after driving the host let us check out late by a few hours at no extra cost. The cabin was cosy, warm, fresh and felt really special. We watched a beautiful orange golden sunset from behind the mountain tops while being wrapped up in the fleecy blankets with our hot drinks in the upstairs bedroom. We slept downstairs because of the warming fire, the bed was the comfiest we slept in our 2 months travelling Sri Lanka! Lakshitha the host is a genuine and great man, super laid back and will go miles out of his way for you. We had the pleasure of meeting him briefly on leaving and he was just a straight up cool guy with a quirky place and nothing but the best vibes. We wish you every success.
