First of all, the hosts are wonderful. They answered all of our questions before our stay, and when we arrived, they met us at the door and showed us around the cabin personally. They even treated us to some snacks and homemade brandy! I didn't know I like brandy, but now I love it. The cabin is gorgeous and spacious and has everything we needed, including a washing machine, games, ponchos, and all the little things we didn't have room to pack. The front porch is huge and was perfect for my afternoon nap. The surrounding village is lovely, and Plitvice Lakes is very close. If we ever return to this beautiful area, this will be the first booking we make.

Situated within the UNESCO-listed Plitvice Lakes National Park, Yeti Cabin is set within the picturesque village of Plitvica Selo. Free WiFi and free parking are available on site. So quaint! We were greeted by the lovely host and shown the spot. Right on the river with yummy views, the cabin was a cozy rainy getaway. Perfect spot for launching off to the park with plenty of information available to help you plan ahead. Was the perfect little stay. The host also recommended Plitvice Lodge for dinner which was a good shout, very entertaining, filling meal by the fireside.

It is easy to find, very close to Slunj, the Barac cave and the Plitvice Lakes, thus it is remote, very quiet, with a breathtaking view from the terrace. The house is very well equipped, the hot tub is great fun. The host was very nice, waiting for us when we arrived.

Well this is a real gem it's like arriving in paradise ...When I spoke to the owner and told him that the pictures were not reflecting it's real beauty he said that he didn't want to raise too high expectations and that it would be better for people to arrive and be surprised. So surprised we were! The place is located in a quiet spot near the woods like in a fairy tale- surrounded by farm animals as sheep,cows also dogs and cats. In the yard is a hot tub which needs to be heated by logs which gives a lovely wooden smell also the water in the hot tub is very clean rain water. In addition the cottage is fully equipped with washing machine dishwasher and all other modern facilities. It is cozy and lovely the style rustic. In short we would love to stay there again!
