There is so much to love about this log cabin! First of all, the hosts are wonderful. They answered all of our questions before our stay, and when we arrived, they met us at the door and showed us around the cabin personally. They even treated us to some snacks and homemade brandy! I didn't know I like brandy, but now I love it. The cabin is gorgeous and spacious and has everything we needed, including a washing machine, games, ponchos, and all the little things we didn't have room to pack. The front porch is huge and was perfect for my afternoon nap. The surrounding village is lovely, and Plitvice Lakes is very close. If we ever return to this beautiful area, this will be the first booking we make.

El Yeti Cabin se encuentra en la pintoresca localidad de Plitvica Selo, dentro del parque nacional de los lagos de Plitvice, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. So quaint! We were greeted by the lovely host and shown the spot. Right on the river with yummy views, the cabin was a cozy rainy getaway. Perfect spot for launching off to the park with plenty of information available to help you plan ahead. Was the perfect little stay. The host also recommended Plitvice Lodge for dinner which was a good shout, very entertaining, filling meal by the fireside.

It is easy to find, very close to Slunj, the Barac cave and the Plitvice Lakes, thus it is remote, very quiet, with a breathtaking view from the terrace. The house is very well equipped, the hot tub is great fun. The host was very nice, waiting for us when we arrived.
