Beautiful apartment, “cabin“ might be the architecturally correct term, but it was certainly more than that: Spacious, with enclosed court/garden area, winter garden; bathtub comfortable for two; living room with stove - it lit immediately well and added a warm and romantic flair. Surprise: the breakfast “invitation“, i. e. eggs, butter, strawberry jam and milk in the fridge, and bread. Thank you so much, Sarah! We slept very well, the bedding is of high quality and the mattress was perfect for us. It was very quiet. For dinner: In 15 minutes walking distance there is a nice pub, the Turfcutters. Friendly people, good dinner. We will certainly come back if we are in the area again.

Offering a bar and garden view, Forest Lake Lodge is set in Landford, 20 km from The Mayflower Theatre and 20 km from Southampton Guildhall. Amazing accomodation. Felt like 'home from home'. Clean and everything needed for our stay was available. Beds were comfy, plenty of space for us all. Even site facilities were a bonus, park, splash park, football pitch and access into the New Forest. We really did enjoy our stay. The kids didn't want to come home.
