Location was beautiful very peaceful quiet, scenic and perfect. The staff were so helpful. Breakfast is lovely. We got complimentary cocktails! The beach cabin is fantastic- tea/ coffee/ milk provided. Lots of towels. Very clean and comfortable.

Great location, within short driving distance from every point of interest in western Cornwall. The town itself, St.Day, is quite pretty. It was nice to have dinner and a short walk in the evening.

Polgwedhen Lodge is a secluded lakeside holiday home surrounded by extensive gardens, private grounds and wildlife. This is brilliant. The lodge overlooks a picturesque lake, complete with resident nesting ducks. There is a kitchen / dining / sitting area, along with a generous-sized bedroom (four poster bed) and separate bathroom. Upon our arrival we found scones, jam and cream waiting for us and a lovely welcoming note. We met our hosts the next morning, and we loved hearing about how they had built the lodge themselves. Definitely one of the best we have ever stayed in.

Clean, cozy and nice stay to base travels from, the hosts were absolutely amazing, prompt and easily connectable. The place was well stocked and had everything you needed for a few days stay. Will highly recommend!!
