Everything was great, location, cleanliness, the facilities and Alfred the host was so cooperative and welcoming.

בנוסף לנוף לים, מקום האירוח Shams Lodge, הנמצא בהורגאדה, כולל מסעדה, מועדון לילדים, בר, גינה, בריכה חיצונית שפתוחה כל השנה וטרסה. So light , bright and modern. It’s lovely to see the palm trees through the shower glass ceiling. The bungalows are right on the beach. Sunrise on one side, sunset on the other. So remarkably peaceful. A private beach with no sales people allowed to bother you and a private pool for lodge users too. If you have kids, there is a larger pool and water slide further along the complex. The restaurant offers a wide variety of food and is quiet and civilised and is located on the beach next to the diving centre where I learned to scuba dive. The staff here are always lovely, friendly and professional. It’s worth taking time to visit the spa where professionally trained staff offer a variety of treatments. Sit on your own little terrace, or at the restaurant and bar or on the beach. I keep returning here. I love it.

A laid back relaxing place near a snorkelling area in the Makadi bay (free access through the Stella Makadi Hotel). Sufficient equipment, outdoor sitting area, swimming pools. Khaled, the owner, was very responsive and helpful, can arrange transport from/to the airport as well as from/to Hurghada. We recommended stocking up at the Makadi Heights Bestway Supermarket (4 km).

במקום האירוח Chalet at Stella Makadi Beach יש נוף לבריכה, והוא כולל בריכת שחייה חיצונית, גינה וטרקלין משותף, ושוכן במרחק של כ-2.4 ק''מ מחוף קליאופטרה. We absolutely loved our stay in this chalet. It is absolutely beautiful here, the chalet itself has everything you might need. There is a cool and inviting living area with aircon, a fan, tv, table, chairs, bean bags and settee. Kitchen has all cooking facilities and a fridge/freezer. Bathroom with shower and also a washing machine. Bedroom with aircon, fan, super comfy bed. Outside is a bbq area with table and chairs. The resort here is amazing, pools are fabulous, snorkelling is outstanding, there is a long jetty into the beach from where you can swim alongside the reef. The atmosphere here is totally holiday. Whilst staying in the chalet you are able to use all of the resort facilities - pools, clubs, jetty, beaches whilst doing so at a fraction of the price of booking direct. We came in a taxi armed with shopping supplies and it all worked perfectly. There are a few shops but mostly giftshops, al few also sell water, fizzy, biscuits and crisps but all at very inflated prices. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. We hope to come back and will stay longer next time.
