We came back from Clave Verde feeling grateful. We loved waking up to nature sounds, serene surroundings, fresh juices, and healthy, hearty breakfasts. We enjoyed our morning conversations with Jonathan and greatly appreciated Noemi's recommendations for places to go and her arranging our trip to El Limon waterfall. We decided to have our last dinner at Clave Verde's restaurant, and we regretted not doing that every night; the food was exquisite and made with a lot of love; thank you, Sandra, and everyone in the kitchen. Clave Verde is a short drive to most beaches around. It's a great location if you want to enjoy the day trips yet retreat away from the hustle and bustle in the evening. Please note when you arrive, it is a steep drive up the hill; it helps to have the shift on the 1st gear.

First of all the house itself is really amazing. Its built in tune with nature and has some super cool rock features inside. The bathroom is pretty incredible! The house is spacious and clean. The porch with the thatch roof is the perfect spot to relax after the beach in a hammock and watch the hummingbirds in the tropical garden. Quiet neighborhood right next to one of the most beautiful beaches i have ever seen. Two minutes walk to the main little street with restaurants and colmados. Perfect spot for a couple or family! Hans was very accommodating and helpful!

Die Unterkunft Ecotopía Park mit Gartenblick in El Hoyo del Cacao bietet Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einem Außenpool, einem Garten, einer Gemeinschaftslounge, einer Terrasse und einer Bar. Die Lage ist direkt in einem Urwald, man hört allerdings noch etwas die Hauptstrasse. Es ist alles funktional eingerichtet, aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Bad wurde vor nicht allzu langer Zeit renoviert und hat einen aufgeräumten Eindruck hinterlassen. Es lassen sich die Holzverschläge der Fenster öffnen, dann hat man einen direkten Blick von der Küche in den Urwald. Die Terrasse ist groß, hat eine Sitzbank, Stühle und Schaukelstuhl. Es gibt dort glückliche Hunde, die sehr freundlich und nahbar sind und absolut friedliebend. Unsere Jungs haben sie geliebt. Zum Ort Las Terrenas braucht man mit einem Auto 5 Minuten, zum Strand ca. 10 Minuten.

Lovely place,very quiet, because it's located far from noisy roads,and they are noisy,well like everywhere in DR,so you will sleep like a baby. Staff was really helpful. We stayed at villa 8,"Amber", everything is exactly like on photos, the living room bed is really big,our 10 year old daughter wanted to sleep with us, and it was enough space for three of us, single bed next to it is perfect for adult, i am 195 cm, tried it,and it was perfect There is also another bedroom and one with double bunk bed which is good for to adults or kids The territory is beautiful, every villa has a barbecue place outside, so don't forget to grab some supplies Swimming pool and jacuzzi with warm water up to 23:00,so you can enjoy romantic evening in one. In the villa the is a kitchen with all necessary stuff and if you need anything extra...well, like i said,staff is really helpful There is also a parking lot inside, the gate is on code,cameras,so it's pretty safe. Nice jym with a pool table and table football, bar/restaurant on the second and 3rd floor with amazing view And ofcourse big old tree on the hill of residence with stone bench with even more amazing view So, to summarize, if ever in las galeras this is a great place to stay,trust me, I have changed quite a few
