It’s just outside Santa Elena , only a few minutes by car. So peaceful and offering a complete privacy. The room was clean, had TV, fridge a kitchenette and spacious bathroom. A must if in Monte verde !

Staying at La Muñequita Lodge is so much more than just somewhere to sleep. It´s like entering a new, exciting, relaxing, friendly world - with a lot of animals, exotic trees and flowers. The hosts are superfriendly and helpful. The house was spectacular. Basic in one way, but exclusive in another. One detail is that I really loved the wooden floor. So soft for your bare feet. Delicious breakfast and dinner. It was very interesting to hear the hosts history of how they ended up here, and take part of their future plans for their small business. We could safely park our rental car here while we spent three days in Drake Bay. It felt much better than park it by the harbour. The hosts really have big hearts and you leave with a better belief for the humanity. I can strongly recommend to stay here. I will be jealous of everyone of you that will.

The cabins in the middle of the jungle, are very large, well arranged, decorated and clean. The view is splendid. A true haven of peace. The sound of birds, toucans, monkeys are relaxing. We stayed 4 nights, and loved it. We will definitely come back the next time we visit Costa Rica. Thank you for everything and good continuation!
