When we got there we saw amazing cabins in a wonderful garden. This is a really magic place to stay. Garden with beautiful flowers, medicine herbs and trees. We saw howler monkeys, white faced capuchin monkeys, toucans, green and black poisonous dart frog, butterflys, sloths. Nearby there was a beautiful beach. The Host of this great place, Fernando was very friendly, helpful. He has a great knowledge of nature of this place and all Costa Rica. During our stay Fernando made a chocolate day. He showed us all process of making chocolate, from the roasting cacao beans to the making chocolate bars. It was wonderful experience. We loved how private the bungalows were and the beautiful gardens where we saw birds and listened to the howler monkeys. The separate kitchen was great to make additional meals, the coffee maker and fridge in the room was a plus. The location was amazing, though Cahuita is small we were tucked away from the main road but only steps away from the entrance to the park. All around a great stay.
