Sonora Yoga Retreat was the most restful and inspiring space in which I’ve ever stayed while traveling. I do a lot of domestic and international traveling, and there truly is nothing like it. From the beautiful, healthy foods and tranquil high quality accommodations to the various spaces—the chala, the saline pool, the bungalows and general gathering area, everything is so ideal.

My God the piece of land where the property is located is impeccable it’s heavenly with all its greenery, trees and landscape. The bungalows are amazingly built, very clean and the privacy is great due to only having just a few scattered bungalows on such a spacious piece of land. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful which was another plus. Gabriel was amazing, very helpful, very friendly and very welcoming. My girlfriend and I would stay there again without question. There’s no food service but there’s everything in the kitchen to make meals and so many restaurants around in the area.

Nestled in the jungle amidst an enchanted botanical garden, 300m from Playa Grande, Wildlife Lodge Cahuita is the perfect getaway for nature lovers. Fernando was a wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious, the cabin was amazing, and the location could not be any more beautiful.

Satta Lodge offers you a unique experience in the heart of the Caribbean jungle and 700m from Cocles beach. Loved waking up with nature sounds and be surrounded by nature all the time. The swimming pool and restaurant area is gorgeous and the rooms and also beautiful and well equipped. The staff and owners were very nice and helpful which made our stay great, specially were also super grateful that we were allowed to do a late checkout. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Boasting a garden, Hotel-Cabinas Nadine offers accommodation in Cahuita with free WiFi and garden views. This property offers access to a balcony. Excellent if you are looking for a nice quiet place in the woods. Excellent host :-)

Thank you to the staff for all their help. Beautiful well maintained grounds. We saw more animals in the yard than in a national park. Lots of hummingbirds, a raccoon came between 10am and 11, and a family of Capuchin monkeys came every day around 2pm. It was a lot of fun to watch them.

Playa Negra Guesthouse is located in Cahuita, right in front of the beach. All units feature a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with pool or garden views. Very nicely and comfortably designed. We had everything we needed. A quiet, restful stay right across from a lovely beach. We even cooked dinner some evenings by the pool area. The owners are delightful and very accomodating. We couldn't have had a nicer time.

Situated 5 km awayfrom Cahuita in the Limon Region and 18 km from Puerto Viejo, Passion Fruit Lodge boasts an outdoor pool and views of the tropical garden. Cocles is 20 km from the property. We had a blast! Very received a very friendly welcome by the manager. The breakfast ($10 per person) was delicious and included toast, fresh juice, rice, eggs, pancake, coffee, fresh fruit, etc. This place is a gem. Thanks for having us!

Playa Grande Lodge & Tree House offers pet-friendly accommodation in Cahuita. Puerto Viejo is 16 km from the property. Free WiFi is available throughout. Alberto was a perfect host, and Playa Grande was the most pleasant and comfortable place we stayed during our travels through the country. It felt like a home away from home. We slept so well, the breakfast was always wonderful, and Alberto was so helpful in providing us with tips and information on where to go and what to do. The entire property was beautiful, and our room was so peaceful and pretty. If I ever go back to Costa Rica, I plan to stay here again.
