We were looking for somewhere quiet and secluded with amazing views. And we couldn’t have found anywhere better on all three counts. Idyllic.

Essence Arenal is an ecological hotel surrounded by Tropical Forest that offers a wellness center to tourists, it is surrounded by gardens and beautiful views of Lake Arenal, the Arenal Volcano and... Amazing property set in lush forest that is so tranquil. Saw more wildlife here walking their trails than at the nearby paid entry parks. We felt we were able to relax as soon as arriving. The staff were so welcoming and our room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and hot water. On site restaurant, massage and restaurant were top notch. Can’t wait to come back!

Featuring an extensive garden, furnished terraces with natural pools and rainforest-mountains views, the eco-friendly Rancho Margot is 700 metres from Caño Negro River and 3 km from Arenal Lake. Staff was so nice and facilities were impressive!
