The lady working there is amazing. You forgive small issues connected to your stay just because of how nice this lady is. She is in love with her country, the nature and the animal around. My 10 points is to her really. As for accommodation it was good, the breakfast (cooked by the same lady) is great. You stay in the jungle and no one around. You wake up to howling monkeys sitting next to your room around 5-6am. So be ready.

The lodge is beautiful, set in the hills next to a rain forest. My room reminded me of log cabin but with a modern bath room. I loved sitting on my balcony with the beautiful landscaping of trees & flower plants. I would awake to see the sheep grazing on the hills. You can walk into a little forest to a running creek, very cool. All of the staff are wonderful, and the owner Ruben is great & very helpful letting me know all of the things to do in the area. And the breakfast & dinners are very good, they have an awesome chef. I will definitely be back to stay here again!!

Affacciato sul fiume, il Gran Gavilán del Sarapiquí Lodge di Sarapiquí offre un ristorante, un salone in comune, un giardino e una terrazza. La struttura e magnifica, immersa nel verde e con facili sentieri da percorrere la sera o di giorno per avvistare la flora e la fauna locale. Il personale è gentile e bravo. La camera ampia, non molto luminosa ma ben attrezzata e pulita. Come detto è al confine della foresta e i suoni della natura sono molto forti e spettacolari
