Samara Chillout Lodge er et boutique-hotel, som ligger 10 minutters gang fra Samara Strand i et roligt område. Der er udendørs swimmingpool omgivet af en tropisk have. The lodge and gardens were exceptionally designed and rooms were modern, bright and airy but maintained a distinctly Costa Rican feel. Hosts/owners were super-friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them; they organized a number of local tours for us and these, and all their dining recommendations were great! I would not hesitate to stay again or recommend this exceptional place to anyone.

I booked the same morning, they replied very quickly and since the room was available they allowed us to check in at our earliest convenience! Clean location, big room, well furnished. I only wished we booked longer!

Very friendly people on site and the accommodation was the most modern I have had so far in Costa Rica. The chalets were immaculate and the pool was great. Having a kitchen was a real bonus. The closest beach is nearly empty most days. The village is a real tico experience - beats any of the tourist traps around.

As we were early in the season, we had the whole resort for ourselves (the staff left during the day and the night, which felt a bit strange during the first night as we wondered whether we were safe).

This was our second time here and for sure not the last time. This place is unique. The Swiss owners make sure it's clean, well organized, well maintained and safe. We had a twin bed bungalow. They are well designed with opposite windows (with mosquito net), no need to switch on the aircondition. The food at the Restaurant is the best at Junquillal beach. Daily wake up call by the howler monkeys. Overall a very calm place. 2 minutes walk to the breathtaking beach. This place is close to paradise with reasonable prizing. Highly recommended.

Mundo Milo Eco Lodge ligger 350 meter fra stranden Juquillal og er omgivet af junglen. Der tilbydes trærestaurant, bungalows med palapa-tag samt swimmingpool. Wr loved our stayed at Mundo Milo, the owners and the staff were super friendly and always ready to help. Very closed to the beach and a amazing environment at the restaurant.

Cabañas Cañas Castilla ligger ved bredden af floden Sapoa og 10 minutters kørsel fra byen La Cruz. Der er udsigt over Orosi-vulkanen og en dagsudflugt til Nicaragua. The little cabins are really amazing in a really rural area but not too far from the next city. You can see monkeys and sloths in the trees right in front of your cabin. The owners are really nice and marked some hikes starting from the accommodation. The breakfast is really delicious with homemade yoghurt. I would definitely return when I am again in Costa Rica.
