The owner is very kind and, friendly. He arrenge for us udawalawa safari .it is excellent. We saw lot of elephants. Also he arrenge sri lankan rice and curry to the dinner. It is soo diliecious as well as breakfast is soo good. We during wonderful time this lodge. We Highly recommend.

Really nice place in udawalawe,owner name kasun,he is very kindly and helpful person.room was very clean and nice shower .aircondetion and hot water more than sufficient,food was very taste and so much...Kasun arrange a safari for the udawalawe national park it was amazing ....... i found knowledgeable driver.. then he arrange a taxi going to another stay, Thanks Hope to come again 🙂

Best hotel so far in Sri Lanka. The manager was very kind and caring. We got a wet towel and welcome drink and a lot of water. The room even has a fridge to cool the water. They organized a safari tour with a good price/ value. We had a 12/10 stay, whished we could have stayed longer. Also great breakfast with various options and traditional food.

We hardly ever score 10 out of 10, but these owners were (it has been mentioned before) very lovely, attentive and great fun to talk to. And then we didn't even mention the great cooking they did and the chance we had to join them in the kitchen! We were unlucky to only have one night. Besides from this, the spacious room and facilities are in a great shape: good shower, good airco, nice beds, a great balcony with (yes, there is only place for one ... 😉) very comfy chair! And the location, in the middle of their own piece of jungle .. Just lovely! We forgot something when we left, but they immediately called and he even brought it with his motorcycle to the car we were in ... All the service. So very much recommended. They have only two rooms, so you are lucky if you can book here.

I recently stayed at Secret River Side Safari Lodge and had an amazing time! The hospitality was top-notch, and the host organized an incredible safari that added an adventurous touch to my stay. The room was spacious with stunning views, and the on-site dining was a delightful culinary experience. A perfect blend of luxury and nature. This was one of the most peaceful, lovely experiences during my trip around Sri Lanka. The tents were well equipped, spacious, and comfortable and made for a peaceful nights sleep. Madu the manager was so kind and helpful! The service and food was excellent- homemade traditional sri lankan food in big portions. We had a lovely time wandering around and going for a swim in the river with the friendly dog Lola. We would like to thank Madu and everyone at the property for their hospitality. We will definitely be coming again! Great glamping experience.

Nice home in remote location. Staff is exceptional, breakfast was delicious and the safari was really awesome. The room was large and the AC worked well
