We loved the place - it was in the jungle so we heard a lot of birds, not cars. The place was really really CLEAN. We really regret we could not stay longer there.

This place is a hidden gem! Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and remained cool without air-con even in 37°C heat outside. The location is very peaceful, it's only a short drive from the main road but you are really immersed in the sounds of nature. The garden is a lovely spot to spend some time relaxing in a hammock watching the wildlife passing through, which includes many different bird and reptile species and if you're very lucky, even the occasional elephant! The owner is a lovely chap, and did his best to make sure we felt at home. He runs the place by himself and does a fantastic job, he cooked us a great Sri Lankan breakfast after taking us to Pidurangala rock for sunrise and he also offers cooking classes using a traditional wood fired stove and clay pots which we unfortunately didn't have time for. He clearly takes pride in and puts a lot of time into maintaining and improving his homestay. We definitely recommend Ali Adi eco lodge as an affordable and relaxing base to explore Sigiriya :)

El xòfer que ens va recollir a l’aeroport ens va acabar fent de guia 3 dies i l’experiència ha estat de 10 (si tornem repetirem amb en Suranga segur!!). L’esmorzar molt complet i bo. Un lloc molt especial on segur que tornaríem. Si busqueu turisme autèntic i local, aquest és el lloc!
