The friendliness of the staff; the room was nice and warm, all ready before check in; the cot was also ready, it was perfect for visiting Chester. It is very well located as well, the neighbourhood is great with many local shops. Good restaurants and shops 5 minutes away; it was beyond my expectations. I will definitely come back to Bowman Lodge if I come back to Chester.

Beautiful location. Very peaceful and quiet. The accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the donkeys who roamed freely outside.

Great location, only 15 mins walk to the city walls. Lovely outside area and excellent facilities (coffee machine, toaster, bath robes etc). Lisa also very kindly provided a bottle of prosecco which was very welcome. Excellent price and facilities compared to local hotels and free parking. Would highly recommend.
