The property features river views and is 31 km from Skukuza Golf Course. Everything! The environment and the view was incredible. The tents were very comfortable and well equipped. The Nkhulu team was very welcoming and helped us to make the most of our few days in the Kruger. We could have easily stayed much longer.

Skukuza Museum is 40 km from the tented camp. Skukuza Airport is 40 km away. An amazing property of 10 tents so it feels wonderfully intimate and this means the game drives don’t feel crowded. The staff were incredibly friendly, food exceptional and the rooms sensitively decorated, comfortable with hot showers. The pool is perfect to relax between game drives. The site has been planted out with succulents making the garden areas unique but really beautiful and less dependent on water than other species. Leopard and hyena routinely pass through the property. At night you can hear lion not far off and in the day all manner of bird life make for a beautiful sound. it’s very easy to spend a couple of hours looking at the view and taking it all in. We were made to feel right at home and had a fantastic 2 night stay.

I loved that the Camp is exposed to nature - When we arrived there was an elephant at the pool enjoying the water there. Also the tent is nice and spacious, and you feel safe.

Buffelshoek Tented Camp rates include full board accommodation and 2 game drives a day. This, however, does not include alcoholic beverages. Towels and bed linen are provided. the best camp that we was in South Africa. Everything in this camp was more than perfect.

Shindzela is a tented safari camp, set in a traversing area within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the greater Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Guests of the Shindzela Tented Safari Camp stay in a canvas safari tent that is equipped with 2 twin beds and a wooden deck. Each tent also has a private en suite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. Shindzela far exceeded our expectations. The property is beautiful and much more of a glamping experience than a camp. The communal dining spaces are beautiful especially the candlelit dinners under the stars. The food was exceptional. Our safari guides Sam and Edward were extremely knowledgeable and we had the closest animal encounters on our Shindzela safaris. Watching the elephants visiting the river bed each day at the campsite is so magical! Would highly recommend Shindzela to anyone wanting an immersive safari experience that is still comfortable and amazing value.
