We actually had other hotel booked (half a year ago), once arrived understood that it was not for us at all, this other hotel kindly cancelled and refunded us the money so we were in a search of a hotel on the spot. Found Autentik and it is a Gem!!!! The pool is amazing, the staff, really nice French restaurant 2 minutes walk..

I stayed here for 2 nights. The place is beautiful, specially if you are looking for a quiet time and connection with nature. It is located in the middle of the island, so if you want to go to any beach it is at least 30 min ride. Unfortunately I don't ride a bike so it was not very convenient for me. The good thing is that they have their own little restaurant. The weather was terrible while I was there. The staff brought me food to my room so I didn't get wet. I felt like home Staff and owner were super friendly and helpful during and before my stay

Food was fresh and everything made on site. Very eco-friendly in overall philosophy, eg no plastic.. instead there were water chiller systems throughout the property. Staff went out of their way to care and were highly respectful. We took advantage of the on-site dive shop and went snorkeling; the best underwater experience I've had. My husband went diving and was gobsmacked by his experience with the staff and what he saw... the best dive he's ever done.

The staff is super friendly and the food is fantastic. I read a lot of comments about the road not being there, but they just finished a brand new road to the property. You cannot walk to Ubud from there, but they provide shuttle service on request at any time until 9 pm or so.
