The cottage has a spacious garden with a beautiful view of the Drakensberg mountains. You have access to a well-equipped kitchen, but I highly recommend barbecueing. As mentioned, there are two rooms, each with a shower. Everything is very clean and tidy, and is also nicely cleaned every day. Thumbs up for the cleaning services. The hostess is helpful and provides plenty of information on things to do. I would say, go for a walk and explore.

Tents were very comfortable, good bed, beautiful bathroom and I woke up on a cold morning where I made a fire and took a warm bath, a relaxing place to be. Staff is very kind. There’s one gamedrive per day included where nature is beautiful, there are no elephants but this means beautiful trees. You can book a drive to see rock art of earlier people. Food is very good, creative with great combinations of tastes and spices. We were sad to leave.

Absolutely loved hearing of the local area and recommendations of where to visit and they didn't disappoint. The rooms are located in a beautiful courtyard with the most homely vibes, we settled into our stay within minutes. The pictures of this beautiful place do not do it any justice. Highly recommend staying here

Offering free WiFi and mountain views, The Cottage on the Corner is an accommodation set in Himeville. The property features garden views, plus is 600 metres from Himeville Museum. Judy was so welcoming and accommodating with our arrival being earlier then expected. We will definitely be staying there again!
