Our stay was short but perfect: we arrived from a hike covered in mud and our host Tu Tu helped us with everything: from washing our clothes in a record time (including my shoes… they returned spotless, incredible! Thanks again Tu Tu!) to arranging our busdrive the next day. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay here.

The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was amazing. The owner's English is very good and he helped us a lot. Definitely recommend this place.

Lena Homestay & Villa er staðsett í Dong Hoi og býður upp á gistirými við ströndina, 1,3 km frá Nhat Le-ströndinni og ýmiss konar aðstöðu, svo sem garð og sameiginlega setustofu. Amazing homestay! The building is so well looked after, and the room was spacious and clean and nicely decorated. The location is good - a quiet neighbourhood close to the waterfront and there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The hostess is extremely nice and welcoming. I was very happy to spend a couple of nights at this homestay :)

Warm hosts, they went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as possible, even doing a lot of research to help me plan the rest of my trip.

Phong Nha Memory Homestay í Phong Nha býður upp á borgarútsýni, gistirými, innisundlaug, ókeypis reiðhjól, garð, bar og grillaðstöðu. The owner, Levi, was very friendly and helpful. He reached out before we arrived to check if we needed help with transportation and tours. He was always available for any questions we had. The location was perfect. It was right on the river - beautiful view from our room and from the eating area. The room was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious. We were able to rent a motorbike from Levi to check out Paradise Cave in our own. He helped us book a tour to Ruc Mon Cave. Both were incredible. He also helped us arrange a very early morning transfer to the train station at 4am.

The hostel was very clean and the pool was an added bonus. We had a private room with our own bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool. It was perfect for our stay. Town was an easy walk away. It took us about 20 minutes. The owner picked us up at the bus stop when we arrived. We find that the son who spoke very good English was very helpful. He booked our tours, a bus from Hue to Phong Nha and a driver from Phong Nha to Hanoi when our flight was cancelled. The restaurant was fabulous and be sure to take part in the family dinner. It was inexpensive, delicious food booked by mom and sister and lots of fun. I would recommend staying here as it’s great value and the family/owners who all work together to run the place try very hard to please.

To say that the host is helpful is not enough. She's managed everything for us, from pickup, through dining and cave excursions to cruise booking. If something was not available, she would just hop on the bike and get it. Friendly, family atmosphere.

This was one of our best stays in our whole trip traveling SEA! I read some of the reviews before our stays and saw someone write about how the staff wasn’t visible and that you couldn’t find them, but that was really not the case for us! This was the nicest family. Everyone was so sweet, smiling and the kids were adorable! We really didn’t wanna leave this place (also because they had 2 puppies and the nicest mama dog😮‍💨🥹😩) food was great, it’s a little 5-8 min drive on a scooter away from Phong Na town, but we only ate our dinner at this place! The family were so, so, so helpful with everything and made our stay so easy to enjoy! I could write so many nice things, but we absolutely loved this place.
