Ruhija Gorilla Guest House in Kabale has a bar and a shared lounge. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. A wonderful place with an excellent price-performance ratio. Cylia and her colleague provided some of the best and friendliest service I have ever had and dinner was also great. From the terrace you will have a beautiful view in the morning, the drive to the gorilla trekking site takes about 10 minutes. The basic room I stayed in was clean, had 24h electricity, Wi-Fi (even if you don't need it - there is very good mobile internet in the area) and everything else you may need (including intact mosquito nets). I felt very comfortable here.

We’re so happy we got the room with the balcony because it had such a beautiful view and we really enjoyed staying out there. Everyone there was lovely and helpful- when we got a flat tire, they found someone (affordable) to quickly fix it for us. And the food is incredible! We are vegetarians and we had lunch and dinner (and breakfast the following morning) and it was delicious and so memorable. Make sure to bring a flashlight, it’s dark at night! And you need to be able to walk up and down lots of steps.
