Incredibly kind and accommodating. I came with 2 other friends and we arrived late and I left around 4am for an early flight. Agnes accommodated our late arrival and welcomed us with open arms, helped us settle in, and even woke up to greet me with breakfast at 4 o'clock in the morning! The beds are comfy and spacious and her family is all incredibly kind as well. 10/10 recommend!

The together dinner in the evening by the pool is just amazing and nice to interact with other travelers. The owners are present and they will go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and cared for. The warm attention they give make you feel like you are the only guest. The rooms are super-no complains. Each room is a private unit/cottage, so you will always have your privacy. In your room you will find a glass of water bottles-this is the way to go for the health of our planet. Coffee here is amazing! Added bonus. You can also directly book your safari from here! They have amazing safari cars and safari package. This is now my goto place while in Arusha! 100 percent recommended

Mambo Hideaway is a delightful oasis with an outdoor bar and lovely garden. I stayed in the bungalow and it was spacious, comfortable and clean with a good shower. Aziz and Glorie were terrific hosts. Glorie lives on site, takes care of everything, makes a delicious, abundant breakfast and will go out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. She even bought more fuel for the generator so I could access some important messages on wifi. Mambo Hideaway is a great value, run by warm and caring people and I'm very glad I stayed there.

Very cute and comfortable place to stay. The showers were warm and we loved the backyard where the staff built a fire one night. We appreciated the breakfast options, especially the good coffee. We also loved meeting Simba and Zazu, the sweet dogs they have at the house. Many nice touches and beautiful decor.

Featuring a garden and a shared lounge, Mazzola Safari House & Backpacking is located in Mianzini area, 1.4 km from Selian Town Clinic. I absolutely loved the place - Steven, Jamal and Innocent are amazing hosts - my only regret is that we didn’t hang out more! They were super helpful with any recommendations or information I needed, kind and fun. The place is lovely, they have a great chill room in the back near the garden - plenty of room to hang out. The breakfast was incredible and the room very clean. Definitely recommend it!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the host, Salha, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the aspects that impressed me the most was the emphasis on safety. As a solo traveler, safety is always a top priority for me, and I found this hostel to be exceptionally secure. From the secure entrance to the well-lit common areas (with security cameras), I felt at ease throughout my stay. The spacious and impeccably clean room I stayed in exceeded my expectations, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment. The bathrooms were impressive, offering warm showers and a range of toiletries that were readily available. It's the little details like this that truly made the difference in my stay. Salha's attention to providing a comfortable environment was evident in every aspect of the hostel. One of the unique features of this hostel is the variety of amenities it offers. If you're a bookworm, you'll be delighted to find a shelf full of books waiting to be explored. For music enthusiasts, there are two acoustic guitars available for those who enjoy playing instruments. In fact, you can even have a guitar in your own room if you wish! Breakfast at Elizabeth Home Hostel was an absolute delight. Salha's culinary skills shone through as she prepared a delicious and hearty breakfast that left me energized for the day ahead. Additionally, Salha graciously offered to show me around Arusha city, providing valuable insights and making my visit even more memorable. The location of the hostel is good, with easy access to the city center. `Bajaji’ (local three-wheeled taxis) are conveniently located just about 200 metres away, making transportation a breeze. For those planning a visit, I highly recommend contacting the host, Salha before your arrival.

The host was wonderful, very nice and friendly. He made medicine for our daughter when she had stomach problems after traveling. Papaya, mango and bananas grow in the garden. You can also feed the bunnies. It was safe, simple and friendly.

Not a la carte but make your wishes known and she'll surprise you! Meals are taken under majestic trees and the open sky near an open campfire, an elegantly set table, country-style. A brook is running near, down below in the gorge. Its soft rushing sound soothes the soul and assures a restful sleep. No need to stay awake past 9:30, and while birds might try to awaken you at the crack of dawn, the comfort of your bed will lull you back to sleep. We stayed for 5 nights, there are only three tents, and they are spaced wide apart, so plenty privacy!
