The room is neat and clean which is quite a top priority for us. The bed and pillow are soft & comfy. Actually it exceeded my expectations in every way. The owner & staff are so friendly and helpful. Uncle and Aunt're so kind. You can tell the hotel to call a Taxi for you. No need to walk up there with your belongings which is a little bit tired. The scenery is beautiful. Walk through the steps 5 minutes to the center of Jiufen walking Street. I forgot my ring in the bathroom and they kept it for us before I noticed it. The check-out day, we wanted to go shopping first, so the hotel offered us to leave the luggages with them then when we're back they will call a taxi to the MRT Station for us. We're totally appreciated. Impressive. Top Recommend.

Located in Jiufen, 34 km from Taipei, Sunshine B&B features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. They happily stored our bikes in reception. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable with lovely linen. They even made a special vegan breakfast for my partner which was delicious. For cyclists visiting Jiufen, the property is at street level which is a real bonus in this hilly town!

We love everything about Jiufen Cafe Sleep. The host was very helpful, the accomodation was unique, clean and well equiped. The breakfast was delicious. The location is superb!

晶晶輕旅民宿 ligger 27 km från Raohe Street nattmarknad i Ruifang och erbjuder boende med luftkonditionering och gratis WiFi. We loved this place and everything about it. The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.

Sla Ulay ligger i Wulai och erbjuder boende med utsikt över bergen samt en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en terrass och en bar. Både WiFi och privat parkering finns på Sla Ulay utan extra kostnad. We like the peaceful surroundings of nature, coupled with the proximity to many birds who turn up each day. The staff are also warm and helpful. We particularly enjoy room 201 which faces the mountains… we really love the view.

Twilight Forest ligger 34 km från Raohe Street nattmarknad erbjuder en trädgård och luftkonditionerat boende med en uteplats och gratis WiFi. The property is perfect in every way, it’s like stepping into a completely different world. It creates a vibe that you live in the “spirited away” world. The location is super convenient, I walked to the old street in less than 10 minutes and you get to enjoy the quiet little town all by yourself before the tourists get in in the morning and after tourists leave at night. The host is super helpful when you need anything, you can also book day tours and massage to the room with the host. I’m extremely terrified of bugs, because this is in a forest and I was traveling by myself, that was a concern. But I didn’t encounter anything in my two nights of stay.

One of the best bed and breakfast I've stayed in. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was nice and the house is so cosy and beautiful. I wish I can come back soon.

Jiufen Back Yard Homestay ligger 33 km från Raohe Street nattmarknad och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, en gemensam lounge och rumsservice. Det finns gratis WiFi. The warm hospitality of the host. We deeply appreciated the tips and tricks to navigate the old streets and to get the best view of the area (we were quite lucky to experience jiufen with clear skies at sunset). Mr Fang also introduced us to his rabbits and a few resident cats, the whole experience was just superb!
