Near enough to the main street but far enough that you'll have a good view. We had a big room for the price and all the amenities were complete. Really had a great stay here! People are nice and check in and check out was easy and fast. Hot shower and water pressure are good. Wifi is fast, the tv has a lot of channels, and also has complementary soymilk and sandwich. You can easily ask for advice on what time the street stores close and open. Was able to maximize our stay by going around before all the crowds came in.

晶晶輕旅民宿 está a 27 km de Mercado nocturno de la Calle Raohe, en Ruifang, y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado y wifi gratis. We loved this place and everything about it. The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.

A Promised Land BnB tiene vistas al mar y está en Jiufen. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de traslado gratuito, cafetería, jardín y terraza. Host was so so kind. They helped us wash (and fold!) our laundry on our 2 night stay. The breakfast was so good. We also had leftovers from a restaurant and the host kindly helped us to heat it up for dinner the next night, plus gave us some of her cooking to make try. The views from the room was beautiful too.

Sla Ulay está en Wulai y cuenta con vistas a la montaña, piscina al aire libre, jardín, terraza y bar. La habitación en casa particular ofrece wifi y parking privado, ambos gratis. The location is beautiful, and so peaceful. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Everything is clean. The outdoor pools are very nice and you can enjoy them in the evening as well.

The property is perfect in every way, it’s like stepping into a completely different world. It creates a vibe that you live in the “spirited away” world. The location is super convenient, I walked to the old street in less than 10 minutes and you get to enjoy the quiet little town all by yourself before the tourists get in in the morning and after tourists leave at night. The host is super helpful when you need anything, you can also book day tours and massage to the room with the host. I’m extremely terrified of bugs, because this is in a forest and I was traveling by myself, that was a concern. But I didn’t encounter anything in my two nights of stay.

Oh incredible place. One of the best bed and breakfast I've stayed in. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was nice and the house is so cosy and beautiful. I wish I can come back soon.

Jiufen Back Yard Homestay está a 33 km de Mercado nocturno de la Calle Raohe y ofrece alojamiento conjardín, salón de uso común y servicio de habitaciones. Hay wifi gratis. The host was very nice from the moment we got there. He gave us restaurant recommendations and directions for several hikes. The property is close to a mountain so it is quite fresh and the little terrace is lovely to enjoy in the morning or evening. Breakfast was quite standard but still ok.
