Located in Jiufen, 34 km from Taipei, Sunshine B&B features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. The location is perfect, just a few mins walk to the bus station. Unlike most hotels in Jiufen, this one won't require you to climb up and down a lot of stairs. The path going to old street and bus station is uphill, though (but not a difficult walk). The accommodation is SUPER CLEAN. We were asked to wear indoor slippers and everything inside feels, looks, and smells clean and homey. The rooms are super spacious. The bathrooms are senior friendly and super clean too! The couple manning the place are so nice and helpful.

晶晶輕旅民宿 is situated in Ruifang, 27 km from Raohe Street Night Market, 27 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area, and 29 km from Taipei 101. We loved this place and everything about it. The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.

Impressive views, super friendly staff, perfect location for discovering the area. The rooms and building have been recently renovated with care. There´s everything you can hope for in every corner of the house.

The property is perfect in every way, it’s like stepping into a completely different world. It creates a vibe that you live in the “spirited away” world. The location is super convenient, I walked to the old street in less than 10 minutes and you get to enjoy the quiet little town all by yourself before the tourists get in in the morning and after tourists leave at night. The host is super helpful when you need anything, you can also book day tours and massage to the room with the host. I’m extremely terrified of bugs, because this is in a forest and I was traveling by myself, that was a concern. But I didn’t encounter anything in my two nights of stay.

Sunflecks Jiufen ligger i Jiufen, 34 km fra Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area og 36 km fra Taipei 101, og har udsigt til haven. Oh incredible place. One of the best bed and breakfast I've stayed in. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was nice and the house is so cosy and beautiful. I wish I can come back soon.

Jiufen Back Yard Homestay har udsigt til haven og tilbyder indkvartering med balkon, ca. 33 km fra Raohe Street Night Market. Denne feriebolig har udsigt over byen og terrasse. The warm hospitality of the host. We deeply appreciated the tips and tricks to navigate the old streets and to get the best view of the area (we were quite lucky to experience jiufen with clear skies at sunset). Mr Fang also introduced us to his rabbits and a few resident cats, the whole experience was just superb!
