We really enjoyed the traditional tea ceremony where a tea expert prepared 3 types of locally grown tea. It was such a calming and peaceful experience, set next to the tranquil tea farm, and made for a great start to the day. The breakfast was excellent, super delicious and nutritious. I loved waking up to the beautiful tea farm just outside the window. We felt well taken care of by the tea farm owner.

Bathroom products are all l’occitane and replenished daily. Lots of local tea and coffee available in the room and communal area. We took the HSR from Taipei to Chiayi then rented a car from the station, convenient parking in front of the property. The bus stop to Alishan is also directly opposite the b&b so very convenient whether your driving or arriving by public transport. Really lovely and friendly hosts as well, showed us around the tea production process and tea drying which happens on the roof! There are also restaurants and convenience stores near by.

The manager is a great host who can teach you about tea. The view from the balcony is wonderful for the sunrise coming up over the mountains.

This is a beautiful home and our hosts are the most welcoming and friendly people. It was such a treat to spend time there. The home cooked food was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Riley Ming Xuan B&B, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Meishan, 21 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street, 26 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall, as well as 39 km from Wufeng Park. It is so peaceful here. The area is stunning with lovely walks looking at the tea plantation fields. Owners are lovely although we communicated solely via Google Translate! Beds were comfortable and a great shower.
