He showed us around the village and although it wasn't in our plans to visit it, it was definitely worth the time! The house is beautiful and authentic and you will be more than comfortable in this strange yet amazing room. And the food they cook is homemade and delicious! True Tunisian food. I suggest everyone to go see this place and meet him, his family and his amazing friend Musa, who's soul is definitely a young and beautiful one. Hope to see you all again!

The host was very responsive and extremely kind in wanting to make sure we were comfortable. The house is lovely and exactly as described in the photo. We also found fruit and water upon arrival. The location was very quiet and close to the sea and had everything we needed. I highly recommend it for a stay in Gabes.

I read a review where one said it was worth the 500 km detour from Tunis, I’ll give you a better one: it’s worth a 4000 km detour from Amsterdam! The setting, the views, the amazing rooms, the village itself, the location, the hospitality and company and above all, the delicious dinner and breakfast. It was perfect from start to finish. The apartment is clean, it offers a super beach view, great bed, hot shower, as clean as it gets, nothing to complain about. Internet was excellent, too. Excellent communication with the owner, who offered free pickup and even dropped us off to the restaurant we asked him too. Fantastic host, really.

We loved the atmosphere, the dinner was spectacular and the unexpected bonus was the dark sky offering an amazing view of the milky way and dozens of constellations which you normally do not see.
