Lovely place and really got all us guests together. We have a shirt Karaoke and then a quiz night. We had breakfast there which was excellent. Lots of home made extras.

Centrally located in charming Visby, these modern, self catering apartments offer free Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen. Excellent location in a quiet area. The studio is light and airy with windows on three sides with stunning views. It is well designed and well equipped with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the MoccaMaster and the linen sheets. Communications with the owner were pleasant and fast, and inchecking was simple.

Maven Kustnära Stugor cottages are situated in the woods just 300 metres from the Baltic Sea, about 1 km from Kappelshamn in northern Gotland. Maven is a hidden, secret paradise. You really don't know you're there until you see your parking spot. All the cabins are off gravel paths, so they have helpful wagons to aid in getting your things to the cabins. Our cabin was very modern and comfortable, with a great kitchen, bathroom, living room and deck. The hosts Anne and Stefan are very welcoming, extremely generous with their time and rightly proud of their creation. There is no way to describe the setting, with walkways leading to all the different buildings open to guests. Anne led us on a tour of the grounds, while Stefan shared some construction tips and showed off one of his new cabins opening soon. This is the kind of place that makes you want to cancel the rest of your plans and stay put. We just happened to choose Kappelshamn as a stopping point on a bike journey, and we feel very lucky to have found Maven.

Set in a renovated granary from 1934, this countryside Guesthouse in Hablingbo is 10 km from the town of Hemse. It offers free WiFi, a large furnished terrace and bright, spacious rooms. A really nice, clean and cozy hotel with excellent breakfast (best part of the stay) and very caring hosts. Smooth check-in and comfy beds. Calm location. Would definitely recommend!

Visby Innerstad Lägenheter & Rum offers spacious, self-catering apartments as well as guest rooms. The property has a large terrace, situated directly on the medieval city wall of Visby. Communication was very good. A few days before our arrival the landlady sent us information how to find the key for the room (there was a key box on the main entrance door) and which room will be ours. On the day of arrival we received an sms 1 hour before the official check-in time that our room is ready. The house is located inside the old town just beside the town wall, the roof terrace is on the wall.:-) On the other side there is the bus station. The street is very quiet even at night too. The whole building and our room was very cosy and clean. Bed was comfortable and wifi worked very well. There are some rooms downstairs and upstairs too. The breakfast room and kitchen is upstairs with a big fridge, dish washer, microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, etc. The breakfast is simple, but very tasty and good quality (cold cuts, vegetables, cheese, yoghurt, jam, butter, cereals, juice,milk, tea,coffee). We had to leave early morning to catch the ferry, the landlady prepared some sandwiches for us to take away, along with juice. The ferry terminal is about 15-20 minutes and a big supermarket is about 5 minutes on foot.

So warm and cozy and inviting, in the heart of Visby. We walked everywhere. It was close to restaurants, shops, and everything historic! Also if you’re a fan of Kiki’s Delivery Service, this property is in the building that inspired Kiki’s bakery.
