Even the bedroom has sliding patio doors on two sides, and there are ample areas of decking as well as a shaded outdoor kitchen, a small garden, a jacuzzi and an outdoor shower room open to the stars. In fact, we only used the indoor shower once during our stay.To preserve our modesty, the heights of the walls and fences around the property have been carefully designed to ensure privacy. And finally, we found the owner, Isabelle, to be exceptionally welcoming and helpful. We unreservedly recommend this property.

The accommodation is great! It is right a the beginning of the Canalisation des Orangers which goes to Mafate. The views from this route are astoundingly beautiful, but it took me the whole day to go there and back (and I woke up at 5!). You don't need to go all the way to Mafate though and you will still get a gorgeous walk. When you are back the Jacuzzi will be waiting for you.

Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Guest House Maido offers accommodation in Saint-Paul, within a 15 minute drive of Saint Paul's black-sand beaches. This place was fantastic, we enjoyed our time there a lot. Breakfast was everything you could ever want, and the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The property is amazing, such a beautiful garden! We lived staying here and I hope we can come back on the future.

Carine and her husband were such amazing hosts. They gave great hints about activities, popular areas and good places to eat. Unfortunately, we don't speak French which is a real handicap on La Réunion, but Carine helped us and organized a taxi to the Cirque de Mafate. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality and all your help! I hope we come back one day!
