It was a wonderful experience that was made exceptional by the kindness we received from the owner Teresa and the other members of the staff. We had dinner several times here during our stay and it was always delicious and served in a lovely and familiar atmosphere.

Situata in una casa settecentesca restaurata, la Casa Da Piedade offre un salone con camino, un giardino all'aperto con barbecue e camere decorate con colori luminosi. EVERYTHING. Imagine a corner of paradise and you will think of something very similar to Casa Da Piedade: a facility surrounded by nature, with a wonderful pool overlooking palm trees and mountains, with very clean rooms, equipped with everything you need (e.g., hair dryer, fully functioning hot water and heating) and furnished with impeccable style. The fantastic staff will make you feel super welcome and pampered (on arrival we found a free gift of Bolo do Caco and Madeira waiting for us in our room) and when you wake up you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast in one of the bright common room. If I were to return to Madeira I would definitely come back here and I definitely recommend it! Thank you 🥰

1.9 km from Almirante Reis Beach, Atlântico Azul is a recently renovated property set in Funchal and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Nice new apartments, very clean, have opportunities for parking a car, the owner helped with transfer and answered all the questions.

200 metres from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools in Porto Moniz, Studios by Aqua Natura Hotels features accommodation with access to a sauna and hot tub. The location is great, studio is spacious and well equiped. Nice facilities and lovely breakfast with beautiful view. The staff was very nice, polite and helpful. Special thanks to Ana Katarina, Dilia and Adriana for welcoming us.

Casal da Penha Apartments offers accommodation within 600 metres of the centre of Funchal, with free WiFi, and a kitchenette with a microwave, a toaster and a fridge. The apartment had everything that I needed for my stay, clean and well appointed. The restaurant downstairs, owned by the same people served excellent food and offered a discount for those renting the apartment. The host Maikel was excellent, attentive and generous, allowing me to stay for a final night free of charge when it became apparent that I had made a mistake with my departure date. If I return to Madeira, I will definitely consider these apartments again. 10 out of 10

Offering a terrace and city view, Alexia Room is set in Funchal, 1.7 km from Marina do Funchal and 15 km from Girao Cape. Hostess was friendly & provided a variety of activities & restaurants in Funchal. Her suite was very clean & comfortable, beautiful bed linens/pillows along with a microwave& coffee maker. Alexia room was a perfect for a short stay & the neighbourhood was easy to navigate once you got used to the hills of Funchal. Great place for solo travellers.

Situated in Funchal, 1.3 km from Almirante Reis Beach and 300 metres from the centre, Social Lodge - Happiness features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi, and a terrace. We will always remember our beautiful holiday in Madeira and our stay at this lovely place. The support we were given by social lodge team was very helpful for people like us, being there for the first time. The apartment was top, we felt very comfortable there, the location within the city is really good and the communication with our hosts via WhatsApp was easy and perfect.
