The location and views are amazing and the facilities are beautiful. The owner is wonderful. She goes to a lot of trouble to make her guests feel at home. The dinner was delicious and so was the port wine which we were welcomed to taste. All in all it was a wonderful stay.

A Tendinha - Guest House se encuentra en Peso da Régua, a 12 min a pie de Museo do Douro y a 14 km de Santuario de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, y ofrece vistas a la ciudad y wifi gratis. This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

The apartment is beautifully renovated. It was comfortable and convenient to shops, parks, and historic sites. It is very well equipped for self-catering with all modern equipment. The washing machine was really appreciated, as was the fresh fruit and sweets... a very nice touch! The terrace was a bonus! Carlos was quick to communicate, and it seems he really cares for his guests. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

FAFEL LITTLE HOUSE - Quinta de Cravaz está a 17 min a pie de Santuario de Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, en Lamego, y ofrece alojamiento con aire acondicionado y wifi gratis. This little house is just that, everything is there, but small. The way it is organized, however makes it very comfortable for a base of visiting the town. You can make your breakfast in the morning and take off to see the local sights and everything is close. You can actually see the top of the Sanctuary (with all the steps) from the windows. It is quiet and the bed is comfy. Our bus didn't leave till mid afternoon and the hosts let us stay an extra couple hours-thanks.
