The staff were so homey and hospitable! We were treated like family and had no issues at all! Location is excellent as it is within walking distance of all the activities in Moalboal and only a scooter ride from the White Sand Beach. Would definitely stay again. 👍

With garden views, this accommodation features a balcony. Really nice room with fast internet and great food delivery. The location was not really nice, but we needed to be close to the airport.

The private beach is kept pristine by daily beach combing, although it has to be said that early in the year the adjacent coastline suffers from seaweed and plastic debris brought in by the prevailing currents. At low tide the extensive tidal lagoons and sand bars provide for a great recreation, just strolling in crystal clear warm waters through meadows of sea grass, looking for exotic sea shells or watching the antics of the tiny blue sand crabs. If you are looking for a small quiet “out of town” retreat on Bantayan, with friendly staff look no further than the Maykenn Beach Resort. PS for a whistle stop tour of other delights on Bantayan the road tour is not to be missed.

Despite our luck with the weather, Sambag Hideaway was located in a great location, 10mins away from the busy main beach. We could hangout in the bar area, with hammocks and huts, enjoying the thunderstorm. The host was also amazing, giving us local tips and suggestions for places to visit and local guides so we felt we were in safe hands. The best was her suggestion of getting a transfer from Moalboal to Oslob to see the whale sharks then getting the ferry to Panglao, something we didn't know about prior to visiting and was worth getting up at 4.30am for. Thanks for the great time, loved every minute of it

Each room is equipped with a terrace with garden views. everything about this place is amazing. firstly, all the people working here are extremely friendly and helpful. we got a private room, and it was exceptionally clean, big bed and overall super comfy and nice.

In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside. Everything was super clean, Mr. Theo was very helpful and gave a lot of useful advice.
