We loved our stay at Elmars home. It was very nice, we could even take Elmars motorbicycle to drive to the city, they prepared a nice breakfast and provides us with everything we needed. We loved the pool, the jungle and animals around and we loved little Toby :-)

The owner Rosa and her husband are lovely. They expained us a lot about plants which grow around there house. The kitchen is well equipped and has all you need. It's nice to hang around in the frontjard and relax a little.

This was our second stay at Tronco Tambopata, and it felt like coming back home. We were so warmly received and hosted, and only wish we could have stayed longer. Located a 15-minute drive from the bus terminal, Passiflora Camp offers accommodations in Puerto Maldonado. A complimentary Continental breakfast is served daily. I rate this place 10+. Eduardo and his spouce are very friendly and welcoming hosts. The place is like a paradise and I recommend you to take at least a few days here. Delicious and fulfilling breakfast too. Eduardo will be happy to help you arrange tours. The distance from Puerto Maldonado is perfect so that you can experience the true jungle feeling, specially at night, but still doesn't feel too remote. Tuktuk can be arranged for a modest 15soles, very worth it. Also, if you are interested in a ceremony, Alberto is your go-to guy. Highly recommended!

Tambopata Hostel is located in Puerto Maldonado. An American breakfast and free WiFi access are provided. The breakfast was delicious, you could eat as much as you want, and the rooms were very comfortable, there were some mosquitoes though, but I think it's because it's the rainy season. The staff was great!
