I recommend you book with them. -rooms are very big and Comfortable. Feels very new as well. -Beds were comfortable.

Basic breakfast but good enough. The location is fine, not too far from the centre but also not in the centre. Not the best but it is quiet which a lot of other places have problems with especially in Huaraz. The view from the rooftop terrace is awesome. The rooms have everything you need and they keep the place clean.

Hotel Churup offers accommodation in Huaraz. Guests will be served a complimentary breakfast buffet daily, consisting of freshly ground, roasted and brewed coffee, fruits, seasonal vegetables and... The staff was amazing! They made us feel at home. The room and the hotel were beautifully decorated, all with very warm and cheerful colors.

Located 500 metres from the main square and 400 metres from Oltursa bus station, Hostal Universal offers free Wi-Fi and 24-hour front desk assistance in Huaraz. I'm very grateful for choosing to stay at Hostal universal in Huaraz! I highly recommend this place for various reasons. It's conveniently located just blocks away from the city center, and just outside the hostel doors you will find loads of fresh fruits, vegetables, and many local shops! The rooms are very well priced and VERY well maintained, with hot showers, fresh linens, tv's, lots of space, private bathrooms, and they even clean your rooms EVERY day! Although I can attest to the above, what really sold me on this place was the hospitality that I received from Dante & Yovana. It's a family ran business that goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is fantastic. They serve breakfast, and continuously accommodated for me as I often left early to do some trekking. They were even kind enough to allow me to store my bags there during a 4 day trek (secured away) and have a later check out since I was taking a night bus back to Lima. If you're looking for a quiet and friendly place that feels very comfortable, I definitely recommend staying here at Hostal Universal! In short, 5 booked days turned into two weeks. We immediately felt at home and incredibly comfortable. For us it was a little paradise. The river that borders the house is perfect for swimming or fishing. From the outdoor kitchen you had a really beautiful view of the mountains, the river and the sunrise. It is a beautiful, quiet place with chickens, cats and sheep that belong to Walter's mother. She lives on the property and supplied us with little things to eat and drink from her little shop. When we were there, there were two baby cats that we really loved. It is super easy, quick and cheap to get to Huaraz town with the collectivo bus. From the property you can walk several small treks, such as to viewpoints and to a waterfall. We were lucky that Walter accompanied us on an adventurous hike to the waterfall. We already miss it and can highly recommend this beautiful spot in nature to everyone. It really exceeded our expectations. Thanks again to Walter and his mother.
