The staff were amazing! we’ve been there for only couple of nights but we really became friends with Esteban and Benjie. they helped us a lot with planning our trip! the property was clean and new with great facilities.

The owner is extremely nice and helps with everything. We were able to stay longer due to the nightbus and he offered us hot tea/coffee.

Located in Huaraz in the Ancash region, Lhotse Hostel B&B offers accommodation with access to a public bath. The staff is very helpful. Basic breakfast but good enough. The location is fine, not too far from the centre but also not in the centre. Not the best but it is quiet which a lot of other places have problems with especially in Huaraz. The view from the rooftop terrace is awesome. The rooms have everything you need and they keep the place clean.

Featuring mountain views, Kame House hostel features accommodation with a garden, around 1.7 km from Estadio Rosas Pampa. Kame House had a great location and cozy vibe. Nice kitchen for cooking, hot showers, and great rooftop for watching the sunset over Huaraz.

Hotel Churup offers accommodation in Huaraz. Guests will be served a complimentary breakfast buffet daily, consisting of freshly ground, roasted and brewed coffee, fruits, seasonal vegetables and... One of the cutest and most comfortable places I’ve staid in. I stayed in a dorm room with single (no bunk beds!) beds, tea and a water boiler in the room. Everything was very clean, hot water worked perfectly. At night they lit up a chimney on the fourth floor and the breakfast is super nice (many fresh fruits).

The host made me feel at home, breakfast was really good, she even gave me coco leaves since stores were closed. The host also got up early to make us breakfast since we were leaving for our trek at 6AM. Location is very close to the collectivo points, making it super convenient for us trekkers. The host was very informational, provided us estimates for collectivo prices, found us a garage to leave our car with a competitive price and good food options. The hosts were also able to communicate in English very well and we had no issues with language. The host was also flexible with our stay, as we had to change around dates and she was able to accommodate on the spot. Good Wi-Fi to remotely work, just needed to switch between the available WiFis but worked well.

Located 500 metres from the main square and 400 metres from Oltursa bus station, Hostal Universal offers free Wi-Fi and 24-hour front desk assistance in Huaraz. The property has a great location - you can reach Plaza de Armes within minutes by foot. The hostal is run by a the owner-family. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure staying there. I would recommend this place to everybody looking for clean and well located accommodation with excellent staff having a strong work ethic and a friendly attitude towards travelers. There is also good breakfast and a (really) hot shower.

Featuring a garden and views of river, casa montañista lodge & camping is a recently renovated country house set in Huaraz, 4.9 km from Estadio Rosas Pampa. In short, 5 booked days turned into two weeks. We immediately felt at home and incredibly comfortable. For us it was a little paradise. The river that borders the house is perfect for swimming or fishing. From the outdoor kitchen you had a really beautiful view of the mountains, the river and the sunrise. It is a beautiful, quiet place with chickens, cats and sheep that belong to Walter's mother. She lives on the property and supplied us with little things to eat and drink from her little shop. When we were there, there were two baby cats that we really loved. It is super easy, quick and cheap to get to Huaraz town with the collectivo bus. From the property you can walk several small treks, such as to viewpoints and to a waterfall. We were lucky that Walter accompanied us on an adventurous hike to the waterfall. We already miss it and can highly recommend this beautiful spot in nature to everyone. It really exceeded our expectations. Thanks again to Walter and his mother.
