Situated in Bidiyah, Moon Light Camp features accommodation with seating area. The campground has family rooms. All units have a private bathroom, free toiletries and bed linen. The hospitals of the owner is amazing. He was welcoming us and also giving a lot of information about Oman. The place is very clean and the bed so comfortable!!! Every room has a personal toilet with shower (water is cold but under the stars and so refreshing).also every room has a USB plug to recharge your mobiles. They also provide you with all the things for the bathroom as towel, dental kit, shampoo etc. there only a few tends so not too many people. Dinner and breakfast as little buffet style:simple but very tasty. I like also that the tends are on the real dunes (some others are on a flat fake site). Better if you ask them to come to pick you up outside the desert as difficult to go by yourself.

I liked everything, especially the owner and the people there. I want to thank Rashid for being such a great human being, for all his care and everything he does. Breakfast was delicious, so was dinner. I had a great time in the desert and enjoyed to talk to Rashid about everything and anything. I recommend with all my heart, ifnyou want to enjoy the silence and also learn more about the nice people of Oman.

So nice small beduin camp, beds were so comfortable, dinner was very delicious, and we have water, tea, coffe and dates available all the time. Pick up and drop off from the meeting location was with no extra charge, and it is only 10 mins drive in the desert. You can easily climb the dunes around. Said is very friendly, he explained us so much about the beduin life, desert and also showed us the stars and name them!

Nomadic Desert Camp is set in Al Wāşil. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Towels and bed linen are featured in the luxury tent. Everything has been perfect. The staff is very nice, chatty but never intrusive; dinner and breakfast are a nice buffet, but you are offered dates, coffee, tea, hawla all day/night long. The room is small but tidy and the common bathrooms were always clean.

Only tents. New. Clean. Quiet place. Fantastic food. Very nice and friendly host. Go there don't hesitate. My best choice in Oman. I planed to spend a night but stayed for longer. I have seen all other camps this one was best. if you look for peace in the desert or plan to go across the desert they will help. - no thanks

It was an unforgettable experience. Mahmud does his utmost to make you feel at home. He is very friendly and always at your service. He made a bonfire at night, played the guitar (or at least a local version of it :-)), went dunebashing with us, ... Diner and breakfast was really nice, compliments to the chef. Clean tent, large bed, a lot of privacy,... Very authentic experience on a small scale! And last but not least: beautiful surroundings... It took our breath away.

Located 50 km from Wadi Bin Khalid, SAFARI-Glamping offers accommodation in Bidiyah-20 kms inside the desert from the village Al Hawaiyah. Our experience at Safari Glamping was really amazing. We tried a lot of delicious traditional food, rented quad bike from a nearby camp, which is owned by the same person, and he invited us for a dinner at this bigger camp, where we had the opportunity to speak with him about his life as a beduin. The host in our camp was really nice and helpful, prepared fire and a really good food for us and as we were lucky to be alone there, we had a chance to speak with him. The room was really clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We drove to the camp by our 4WD car and it was simple and without any problem. You just need to have your tires deflated beforehand. 100% recommended experience worth the money.
