It was beautifully set-up, extremely clean, and very well-equipped! It seems to be almost brand new with lovely furnishings and had everything we needed. Wished we could have stayed longer! I had a little trouble finding the complex—my fault…we were very tired and new to the area—and I hadn’t had a chance to read all the detailed emails explaining the check-in process. We called the owner (at 9pm!) he walked me through the steps until I was safely in the unit. I thought that was extremely kind of him and we were very appreciative of his patience and help. All in all, it couldn’t have been better!

The house was perfect for what I needed, it was clean, well furnished with lots of lovely finishing touches (e.g., soap and shampoo in the bathroom), and it was evident that the hosts put a lot of effort in to make it a well-looked after place. There are multiple rooms, but it was great to have two bathrooms available. The kitchen was very big, and had everything you needed. And the best part was that the host was so kind to provide some basic cereals and fruit, and made sure there was tea, coffee and milk in the fridge. We sometimes even got spoilt with homemade muffins :) Rebecca, the host, is truly wonderful. She's very kind, generous, friendly and helpful, which is what made my stay that much more memorable. She made sure that I had food, and gave me a home-cooked meal when I arrived late on my own, which was very sweet and thoughtful. The location is also great - about a 20min walk to the university and 20-30min to the main road, and across the river into town. The room that I stayed in was very spacious, clean and had good cupboard space and table to sit and work. The double bed that I had was also very comfortable. I felt safe and welcome, and I really enjoyed my stay at this homestay.

This property is perfect for a group or family. Its professionally setup and run by very good operators like youd expect at a motel, very well renovated, parking is excellent, street is quiet, it has a/c, a lovely warm gas fire, an office in addition to bedrooms, even though not a new build, its the best weve had for our business group in a while. Ie 3 bedrooms, at the right price, with good parking. It will be great for a family too. Highly recommended.

We loved the area the apartment was the best 1 yet since coming 2 Taupo in booking 4 a couple of nites will definitely com here wen in Taupo again and stay. Was exactly wat I was looking 4. The Tranquility and peace was awesome. Had everything in it that made it perfect. 10 outa 10 4 me

The place was clean, overlooking lake Taupō. It has good space to spread out! Thank you for the bag of chocolates on our arrival as well!
