Situated in Kathmandu, 200 metres from Hanuman Dhoka, Studio Apartment at UNESCO Heritage Site features recently renovated accommodation with free WiFi and a terrace. The location was amazing and the apartment had everything I needed. The host was very attentive and helpful.

It’s very clean, comfortable and was the perfect place for me to stay both before and after heading out trekking. The staff are so friendly and helpful and as a solo female traveller I felt very at ease. And the value for money is much better than anything you can get just a five minute walk away in Thamel!

Situated just 2.7 km from Pashupatinath, Swagat homestay offers accommodation in Kathmandu with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as room service. For me the best part were Sugat and Roshani, whose Homestay it is. Every morning at breakfast I would speak to one or both of them which made me feel welcome and at ease. It also made it very easy for me to ask any questions I had about for example where to go for a specific bus or place to visit, or even having Sugat help me book the bus to Pokhara. While I was gone for a few days, I could leave my bigger bag at their place. They were a fantastic support! 🙏
