Ram, Raj and the entire family are amazing people. The food at the restaurant is the best I have had during my time in Nepal! This homestay has basic facilities which is reflected in the friendly price. The beds are quite hard, but just ask for more padding and blankets and they will provide you.

Gurung’s Home is perfectly located a short walk from Thamel, but nicely set back from all the chaos and noise. It’s very clean, comfortable and was the perfect place for me to stay both before and after heading out trekking. The staff are so friendly and helpful and as a solo female traveller I felt very at ease. And the value for money is much better than anything you can get just a five minute walk away in Thamel!

Swagat homestay asub Katmandus, Pashupatinathist vaid 2,7 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed, ühine puhkeruum ja toateenindus. Kodumajutusel on tasuta eraparkla ja pakihoid. For me the best part were Sugat and Roshani, whose Homestay it is. Every morning at breakfast I would speak to one or both of them which made me feel welcome and at ease. It also made it very easy for me to ask any questions I had about for example where to go for a specific bus or place to visit, or even having Sugat help me book the bus to Pokhara. While I was gone for a few days, I could leave my bigger bag at their place. They were a fantastic support! 🙏

It was an awesome experience to have an amazing sunrise from my room. Mr Kishoor and his wife are very cooperative and humble. All the time they care about their guests.

Jagatud puhkeruumiga Yamba Traditional Home asub Pātanis, 6,5 km kaugusel Hanuman Dhoka linnast, 6,8 km kaugusel Katmandu Durbari väljakust ja 7,8 km kaugusel Pashupatinathist. We stayed in a big room in traditional style. It was so cosy that it felt like home. Nice room, comfortable bed and even an electric blanket and gas stove. Fantastic! The host and his family are very helpful and friendly. It is located in a quiet area in walking distance from the Pātan Durbar Square and the restaurants.
