The location was just outside of the city ring, probably walkable in warm weather, but in the cold wet winter, we opted to take an Uber into the city center. Quick10-20 min depending on how much traffic. Loved the extra charging cords in the room!

Room was beautiful and had everything you could need, Rob took the time to explain everything in the room to us, rain shower was fabulous and everything was pristine. A very comfortable bed and if we revisit Harleem we will definitely return.

We booked during kermis, so we had noise from the outside, but had nothing to do with the nice room we had and the amazing staff.

Objekat Canal Hideaway je smešten na idealnoj lokaciji u Amsterdamu, i to u četvrti Amsterdam - Centar grada, na manje od 1 km od znamenitosti Glavna železnička stanica Amsterdam, 9 min. A perfect location - few minutes away from the Amstredam Centraal, but very, very quite with a nice canal view right in front of the doors and good places to have breakfast / lunch just around the corner (or, across the bridge - to be more precise) . The room is not too big. In fact, it's quite ascetic - though there is a private bathroom with shower and bed is very comfortable - much better comparing to well known hotel chains in Europe. The building is historic, which means one sometimes can hear some noises from other persons living there (like somebody climbing stairs), but that definitely is a minor thing - it just confirms the authenticity of the building. David is very friendly and helpful person. It's easy and pleasant to communicate with him and to agree about the details.

I’m a little apprehensive to say how much my husband and I loved this property because it’s like a best-kept secret. 🤫 But, I also want to share that this GEM of an apartment exists in the old-city of Amsterdam. My husband and I traveled to Amsterdam for a celebratory weekend getaway without our kids. 😎 Flinder was PERFECT for us! It takes a little work to make your way up the steep, winding 18th century Dutch staircase, but once you land on flat ground, you will open the door to an enchanting room with antique wood beams and flooring mixed with modern day appliances (like A.C. 😅). The seamless blend of old and new is so romantic! Not only is the room wonderful, but the owner, Mary Grace, is the most gracious and helpful hostess! She helped me from the moment I Booked the apartment to the moment I stepped foot on the train to say goodbye to Amsterdam. Flinder is located in the ❤️ of Amsterdam! The location was truly amazing! It’s close to Centraal train station, Jordaan, 9 Street, Red Light, and many fantastic restaurants. Now, that I have shared the secret with everyone, I can only hope to find this awesome Booking the next time I visit Amsterdam! I’m already dreaming of a next time 😌
