Bananoz Surfhouse is situated on the seafront in El Tránsito, a few steps from El Transito Beach. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the property and private parking is available on site. This is a 10 out of 10 only because there is no higher score available! It was absolutely amazing. The host family is the sweetest and make you feel extremely comfortable the moment you step in. The accommodation is extremely clean and well organized and there is everything you need for relaxing, cooking and a good nights sleep. It is fore sure one of the best places we stayed in our 5 months in Central America. Highly recommend!

Hotel Al Sole features free bikes, garden, a bar and shared lounge in León. Excelent Hotel, probably one of the best we visited during our trip for cleanliness and friendly staff. They have a beautiful small pool perfect for the hottest hours of the day. Very tasty breakfast. 15 minutes walk from the center, they also have free bikes.

Habitación en casa Familiar is located in León and offers a terrace. This homestay features a garden and free private parking. Here, you come as a guest and feel like family! The house is huge, the neighborhood is very nice, kids out and playing until late, and it is a 20 minute walk to the main square of Leon. (There's also a c$6 bus that stops outside the front door, and taxis are about c$50). You get a look into parts of the town that are not the center. Breakfast was excellent and varied, and the Wi-Fi clocked in at 50Mbps so easily fast enough for Zoom calls and the like. If you have an oversized vehicle, there is a secured lot around the corner (in front of the basketball court) that charges c$30/day. The on-site garage will handle regular vehicles.

The Wabi Sabi is a recently renovated guest house in León, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and bar. We did a five night stay, lovely place just a few streets from the city centre. Polite and easy going staff who made sure the place always looked it’s’ best throughout the entire day. The highlight of the stay must’ve been the kitchen, super well equipped, sturdy pans and pots and free access to drinking water and ice. We would definitely return to The Wabi Sabi in the future.

Located in Nagarote in the Leon Region region, Camping Ojo de Agua has a garden. It is set 1.8 km from El Transito Beach and offers a shared kitchen. The campground features family rooms. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, quiet and peaceful community feeling. Intact mosquito nets for each guest were a big plus. Great stay overall!

Boasting inner courtyard views, Nimbu Beachhouse offers accommodation with a garden, around a few steps from El Transito Beach. Nibu is a slice of paradise. It has stunning views and was so cute. loved Gretal! She’s amazing, so sweet, so kind, and so caring. She is a fantastic cook as well. All the food was delicious. She also introduced me to her family and gave me a few rides. One was to get my bus and another to Nimbu after the sun had set. I enjoyed practicing my Spanish with her as well. 10/10

Located just a few steps from El Transito Beach, Casa Todo Bueno features accommodation in El Tránsito with access to an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. Made to feel right at home. Very chilled couple who when you first get there tell you to treat it like your home. And they make you feel it too. Great location away from the main town but only a five minute walk along the beach into town. Great facilities and very clean. Worth the visit and can't wait to go back.

Hostal San Antonio features a garden and a shared lounge in León. This bed and breakfast features free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Really lovely and helpful staff! Very spacious bathroom and we loved the little terrace.

Situated in León in the Leon Region region, El Callejon Guest House has a patio. This homestay provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. Had a wonderfully comfortable stay at this centrally located house, surprisingly quiet. Despite our short stay, daily cleaning and thoughtful touches like changing sheets and providing extra toilet paper made it special. The owners, despite the language barrier, were the real stars—sweet and kind. Grateful for this find, highly recommended

A recently renovated guest house located in León, Hostal Leyendas features a garden. Very accomodating and helpful staff, nice environment and quiet location short walk away from the center. Price was fair and I loved the breakfast. Thanks!
