Vlak bij een prachtig strand . We hadden het appartement geboekt en dat was een ruim onderkomen , keuken is niet compleet om bijv wat te koken maar hier is HP inclusief dus ook niet echt nodig. Waterkoker aanwezig, geen koffiezet apparaat. Eten is gezamelijke aan ruime tafel met andere gasten . Veel Frans sprekende gasten , aansluiting kan lastig zijn als je de taal niet machtig bent . Airco alleen in de slaapkamer en die werkt goed . Fijn ruim balkon met veel privacy . Check even welke kamer je krijgt , sommige balkons bieden geen privacy doordat ze tegenover de eetzaal liggen . Eten was afwisselend en goed, lokale gerechten en elke dag iets anders . Het is een wat oudere accommodatie, enkel glas en soms wat mankementen echter goed schoon en netjes . Panoramic Paradise is gelegen in Rodrigues Island, op 9 km van Francois Leguat Reserve, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren en een terras. The accommodation provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, matching the description and photos provided online. The location was brilliant - quiet, with beautiful views. We accessed attractions by hire car which our host, Stefan, organised. He also organised a boat trip for us. Breakfast and evening meal were provided and were delicious. The staff other than Stefan were friendly and helpful, ensuring our needs were met throughout our stay. Overall, we would definitely stay there again.

It’s tremendously exciting for world travelers to find somewhere very special like Rodrigues Island, 600 km east of Mauritius. Even more intriguing is what the accommodation will be like so far from the populated world. The pick-up from the little airport was faultless despite a common Air Mauritius delay and we were greeted at the Blue Room by John who showed us around and settled us in. The accommodation is simple and entirely unpretentious where everything works, including (now wait for it) wifi that yields, another ‘wait for it’, 320 Mbps! Plenty of water for the shower, hot and cold, with uninterrupted power supply. John can make available a car, a robust 4x4, at rates that, as I told him, are far below market rates. The Blue Room overlooks the somewhat distant Indian ocean that is a short drive away in Anse aux Anglais, down the hill. Restaurant-wise, there’s not a hell of a lot going on in Rodrigues but the local village down the hill offers some animation in the way of two okay eateries and a little grocery store. It’s pretty too. So, it’s a great place to stay (without AC but good fans) and highly recommended indeed. Bravo John!

The cottage is situated on the high where the view is spectacular over the ocean. The cleanliness was second to none. Owner was helpful and felt home. It was my first time at the Rodrigues and can strong recommend the Eagles Nest Cottage. It’s spacious and can easier accommodate a family of 5. The cottage has a kitchen facility where you can prepare a good feast if you don’t feel like going out.

Fantastic stay! Amazing house, set in a breathtaking location. The attention to the little details in the house, which is furnished with great taste, is impressive. You feel really at home & you quickly feel that the owners of this house want their guests to feel at home. Everything is well thought for & done to that effect. Fabienne cooked delicious local food for us and made our stay really special. Johnny, the watchman, was marvellous with the kids who fell in love with the animals on the farm. The veranda is exceptional & spacious and we spent much time there, after a day of fun activities on the island. This is definitely a 10 out of 10! We shall definitely be back at Letan Lontan for another family getaway.
