She picked me up from my boat tour, she gave me the best recommendation for a local massage and dinner. The place was beautiful and spotless. I felt so comfortable. Horisun offers accommodation in Belle Mare. The guest house has a barbecue and terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. We had an exceptional stay in this accommodation. It was the perfect location to relax next to the lake before our departure from the island. Very peaceful location with nice view and nature. When we booked, we were a bit concerned of mosquitoes due to its proximity to the lake, but we had no problem at all the 3 days we stayed there. The room was very spacious and clean, the personnel very friendly, and helpful with everything we needed. The breakfast was hearty, with many local products. Totally recommended!

We highly highly recommend the lodge. It makes an immediate impression as you come in - everything is very thought through and you notice tiny details everywhere: the decoration, the good vibes, pleasant music, the staff as well as the other tourists are friendly and down to earth. Julien personally welcomed us and gave us a tour of the premises. Food is exceptional (very fresh, plenty of vegetables and fruit which we really appreciated, some local Mauritian dishes) and so is the staff! A range of activities is available from hikes to free boat shuttles to the nearby island. The booklet provided was very informative (with recommendations for restaurants, attractions, etc.) - we wished we had that info at the beginning of our Mauritius trip. Unfortunately my partner had a medical emergency on our last day. The staff and Julien, the hotel owner, organised everything necessary and rushed him to the hospital in his vehicle. Having a health issue in a foreign country was stressful, but they supported us so much and made everything work. We're now back home in good health. We hope to be able to come back some time soon!

Blue Ocean Suites and apartments is a set of 6 suites and apartments situated right on the beach of Trou d’Eau Douce. Excellent stay in the East of Mauritius, Sabrina took great care of me and the owner is friendly and helpful. It is located right on the beach and is close to many restaurants. Really good modern facilities. Good attention to detail on amenities. Will definitely opt to stay here if in the East, its definitely the best location in that area.

I can highly recommend this property. The check-in process was seamless and the property has a gorgeous view. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the stay here in the East and got to explore the local beaches and eateries. I would recommend this stay to anyone.
