This is one of the best places we stayed ever! Definitely worth 10/10 in Booking.com ranking. Quiet, isolated area, stunning view all over the mountains from the altana and dining room. Perfect home made food (big portions!). But - it all depends what you need. You will like this place as we do only if you want to escape from the touristic, crowded areas looking for tranquility and nice people. This is not the place you will have easy access to the restaurants, shops and other city attractions. The road to get there is also a bit tricky to navigate and takes a while to get there from the center of Mojkovac. The accomodation in bungalows simple, but not overpriced. But the view, atmosphere, idyllic surroundings and warm welcome by the host is unbeatable. And the owner resembles famous French actor Jean Reno :) Travel tip: you can consider going by train from Mojkovac to Virpazar and back (just drive 4 km down the road and leave your car on the free parking at the station). Such excursion will offer 2 big attractions: visiting Shkodra Lake (enough time to hire a boat or organized boat trip) plus travel by train itself along the most spectacular railway in Balkans. Doable in one day without rush, just take the train from Mojkovac to Virpazar not later than 7.00 AM.

FERN FARM ECO RESORT is gelegen in Mojkovac, en biedt tuin, gratis WiFi, roomservice, en een 24-uursreceptie. The property was bran new, beautiful and very clean. Luba the host was very kind and an excellent cook, we highly recommend eating dinner and breakfast in the Fern Farm. Luba makes wonderful traditional dishes, all the food is made on the farm and grown locally. We had a lovely stay.
