The property has an amazing view, we watched every sunrise from our bed or balcony. The bed was comfortable and the toilet was fine. They cleaned our room after 2 days and gave us new towels as well which was a nice change.

The staff found out it was our anniversary and went out of their way to decorate our room - a lovely touch. The place is clean, the room was pristine, the breakfast is good and the staff are excellent. The hotel has its own safari jeep and we organized everything with them, it was probably the best thing we did. We’d go back.

It was one of the best stays during our Sri Lanka trip - the property is beautiful, well maintained and very comfortable. We loved the pool area and the fact that we felt surrounded by the nature. Also the rooms were very spacious and tastefully designed. The hotel manager was beyond helpful and personally organized the fixing of my phone screen when it got broken. He also organized a very nice morning safari and a great massage for us for a reasonable price. We loved every minute of our stay at The Countryside Udawalawe and would have wished to spend there more time!
