Lovely setting in a beautiful homestay environment. It was very peaceful sitting in their beautiful garden, and the orchestra of frogs in the evening was a delight. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. Dimu and his wife were so genuine and lovely, and the curries were delicious. Dimu organised a safari tour with Sumudu as our guide. Sumudu's knowledge and respect for the animals was very much appreciated. We saw many wild elephants, Sambur deer (very rare), deer, wild boar, golden jackals, Buffalo, crocodiles, peacocks, monitor lizards, mongoose and many beautiful birds. One of the highlights of our trip! Thanks for an amazing stay, Dimu!

Staff were helpful in finding a good place to eat - common rose- and with information concerning my onward travels. Enjoyed the safari organized by them.

Dont even look for another offers. Firstly offer from share Safari Lodge. is cheaper and secondly we had absolutely stunning guide! the guide is the most important on safari and we are very grateful for this.

El Mango Tree House está situado a 12 km del parque nacional de Udawalawe y ofrece alojamiento con conexión wifi gratis y estacionamiento privado gratuito. Loved it all! One of the best acommodations on my trip to Sri Lanka. The location itself is great - not far away from the village center, but still in nice, quiet local road where you can meet lots of friendly local people. The garden in Mango tree house is very beautiful and very well kept! The cottages are super clean, very spacious and beautiful. Loved the waterfall shower in bathroom! The owner family is very friendly and welcoming. You can feel very relaxed there as they help in everything needed. I got my rides organized by the owners which saved my time a lot. Also their dinner was great, one of the best local meals I’ve had in Sri Lanka. Even if they dont have pool, there is one at really near by hotel that the owner directed me to enjoy refreshing swim on a hot day. You only pay small fee to enter the pool. I would definitely stay here again!

Awesome outdoor shower! Very helpful owner and staff, helped us arrange transportation. The place has only 3 houses - great for kids.

Small gem right next to Udalawe Nationalpark. Very cute design, you see Janaka the owner put a lot of heart and soul into this place. He is nothing but friendly and helpful. He organizes everything you need and in his little own restaurant he is offering amazing local food for his guests. Go for early morning safari with Leel and you will be the first to enter the park, see Elephants and enjoy the morning in nature when the park awakes around you. The room has AC and ceiling fan, hot shower water, moskito net (which we actually didn’t need) and is clean. Cute front room serves as a kind of living room and outside patio with a nice place to sit, free games and yoga mats! Elephant Transit home and Restaurants in walking distance. Would always go there again when staying in Sri Lanka! Price-value is top! 10 out of 10.

Nice view of elephants from balcony. Access to shop for snacks. Delicious food. All around terrific! Recommend to do their safari tour.
