One of the best places we stayed in all of Sri Lanka. The best host who is kind, communicative, attentive, and a great conversationalist. Facilities are brand new and felt like home. The room was big and spacious, the bed was super comfortable, the air conditioning was great, the balcony overlooking the mountains was a sight to behold. Room was spotless clean. Sri Lankan breakfast and tea was excellent everyday. Location feels private and secluded even though town is just a 5 minute tuktuk ride away. Highly recommended.

Everything was great. The breakfast really good but the staff was incredibly helpful and serviceminded. They helped me with extra services and late check out without charging anything. I highly recommend this family owned guesthouse. They provide the best service you can get

Wonderful room with a spectacular view, well decorated, clean and spacious. The buffet breakfast was very extensive and delicious. Staff was friendly. The weather wasn't so great, sadly, but i will definitely come back in summer!

Pictures can't do the view justice - it is seriously amazing! Having breakfast on the roof deck was a highlight of our entire trip. The hosts were extremely kind and explained how to quickly walk into town and to the Ella Rock hike using the railroad tracks right behind the property. It was far enough from Ella town to be extremely peaceful, yet close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The room itself is quirky and has a lot of character, which we loved!

Nastanitev Rainbow Sky Cottage se nahaja v mestu Ella, 6,5 km od znamenitosti most Demodara z devetimi loki ter 45 km od znamenitosti Hakgala Botanical Garden, in ponuja brezplačen WiFi, vrt z... This is a wonderful place to be. Fantastic natural environment, we had moneys in the trees just in front of our bungalow and watched them for an hour or so. Some fireflies at night, fantastic scenery of mountains and forest. The place is some 50 meters right above the railway, so you see all the trains passing by. Plus and above all, the family who runs the hostel is so nice and friendly. The parents of the owner don’t speak much English, still it’s worth communicating, as they are lovely people. The meals the mother was cooking were incredible, just huge! Could never finish them, also of great variety and not too spicy, just extraordinary, really the best in four weeks of traveling. Also the owner took us for a tour and arranged transportation for a fair price. The place is about 30 minutes walking distance from town but walking along the train tracks through a beautiful local area is an outstanding experience.

I have been traveling for a while and I needed a place to just chill and rest for a few days, Minthu Homestay couldn't have been a better choice for me. The views from the balcony are STUNNING, the breakfast is hearty, so goddamn delicious and fulfilling and the hosts are the loveliest people I have met in all of my travels. I sunbathed on the balcony and just caught up on sleep and rest while it was raining. Would 10/10 recommend and I will 100% come back!!! Oh and the water in the shower is hot and rooms are spacious and have literally everything you need.
