Pearl and Ranjan were excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble. They organised a tuk driver for me and Ranjan even came to the train station on my departure. The room was perfect and the bed very comfortable. I would happily recommend this homestay - a perfect retreat.

The super friendly and very communicative owner gave good tips for hiking and showed us a nice waterfall nearby. Our highlight was that he organized a night-out in the village, showing us around the rice fields and the temple and serving us amazing local food in the village in the traditional way. If you are looking for a great local experience in the nature you came to the right place!

Apresentando vista da montanha, Wild Glamping Knuckles - Thema Collection apresenta acomodações com um jardim, um terraço e um restaurante, a cerca de 32 km de Estádio Internacional de Críquete de... So peaceful!! This was a true highlight of our trip. The beds in the tents were soooo comfy, we ended up extending for two extra night. We went on a really great hike with our guide Banu too who was so knowledgeable, it really topped off the experience for us. If you’re looking for something off the tourist track and really in nature this is definitely the place to book.

Gammaduwa Bungalow is an absolute heaven and one of the highlights from our stay in Sri Lanka. The bungalow is situated in the most beautiful surroundings and the resident dog, cats and stacked library means you'll have a brilliant stay. We only stayed for one night and wished it could have been for longer. Also, try (and buy) their amazing tea!

Situated in Matale, Palapathwela Ross Estate Junction , The Inn at Matale" provides comfortable accommodation for local and foreign travelers alike. Dilini is an amazing host, she recommended us nice spots in Knuckles Forrest Reserve. I would definitely recommend to stay in Matale for more than 1 night and visit Knuckles as much as possible, the nature is really beautiful (although good to have a driver or a car to visit all the spots). Also, the room was very clean with all the needed facilities. Special thank you to Dilini for making a delicious cappuccino during the breakfast!

Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.

O Hatale Tea Estate Bungalow está situado no meio de exuberantes plantações de chá, apenas a 1 km do Hatale Tea Centre (centro de chá). Highlight of my holidays, amazing staff and manager was so helpful. Beautiful gardens and tea factory. Excellent meals, it’s like going back in time. Wonderful.

Everything was perfect! A well preserved “walawwa”, quite comfy and spacious. Can easily accommodate large groups. Would recommend this for anyone who’s looking for a homely place to stay in!
