A place where you can dive into an atmosphere of family with deep conversations during the meal or tea. About the house: there's a safe place to park a bike. A terrace and a rooftop (!) to enjoy the sunsets or city views or to sit alone and read a book. By the way, there's a decent library of English books in the house! About the room: it was the biggest bed I've ever seen. Not a king-size, a sheikh-size 😅 AC and everything was great. Breakfast was included, and you may ask for a dinner as well, and for the reasonable price landlady will cook it for you. National cuisine, very tasty! Could not be happier with our stay at 55tg. We arrived extremely late but the boys were there to get us with a smile. The room was absolutely lovely. Bed was superb....slept like a baby every night. The staff could not have been more accommodating even getting us things that were not in the menu. We spent a supurb evening with great conversation with Thanuj who is the creator of this beautiful space. Cannot fault the food or generous hospitality of a wonderful boutique hotel in colombo.

From Sita's welcome to breakfast and the meal ordered in the evening, everything was perfect! The room was great, very comfortable. You feel like home. Sita's cooking is truly incredible. I really enjoyed it! Finally, the guest house is located in a quiet area, yet close to all amenities!
